Christ's Church changes VBS to daytime

Christ’s Church of Fountain Hills has changed the times of its Vacation Bible School (VBS) from evening to morning.

The time and dates are 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday through Friday, July 31 to Aug. 2, at the church, 15555 E. Bainbridge Ave. The theme will be “What’s in the Bible?”

A special date night for parents will be from 5:30 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3. Parents will be able to leave their children while the church’s Kids’ Ministry watches them.

Christ’s Church of Fountain Hills has changed the times of its Vacation Bible School (VBS) from evening to morning.

The time and dates are 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday through Friday, July 31 to Aug. 2, at the church, 15555 E. Bainbridge Ave. The theme will be “What’s in the Bible?”

A special date night for parents will be from 5:30 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3. Parents will be able to leave their children while the church’s Kids’ Ministry watches them.

Sunday, Aug. 4, activities will start at 9:45 a.m. with a pancake breakfast, followed by the church service where youngsters will sing a VBS song.

Eligible participants are children from three years old (potty trained) through fourth grade. Children in fifth grade can help as a group leader.

Youngsters will learn about the Bible through songs, games, video lessons, small group teaching and arts and crafts programs.

The fee is $10 per child with a maximum of $20 per family.
