Children, their parents and even grandparents can attend “Family Focus Vacation Bible School” July 31 through Aug. 4 at Christ Church of Fountains Hills, 15555 E. Bainbridge Ave.

The theme will be “What’s in the Bible.”

Participants will learn the whole story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.

Songs, games, video lessons, art and crafts projects will keep youngsters occupied.

When not in adult lessons, older participants will enjoy activities with their children.

Family Focus VBS is designed to provide children with all of the fun and faith-based instruction of a typical VBS while simultaneously helping and equipping parents on how to have healthy conversations about God/Jesus and be the leaders in their homes.

Each day will include a 45-minute breakout session for parents in which a video will be shown teaching about engaging the family in the Bible and God’s redemptive mission in the world.

Hours will be dinner, 5 to 5:30 p.m., and activities from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The cost is $20 per family with no age restrictions.

Aug. 3 will be a Late Night/Date Night” event from 7:30 to midnight. The children will stay while parents go on a date.

The program will end Aug. 4, Sunday, with breakfast and family focus from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
