As the Church of the Ascension continues its year-long 50th Jubilee celebration, the month of February puts the spotlight on two pillars of the parish: the dedication of its volunteers and the deep spiritual tradition of prayer.
The upcoming events are designed both to thank those within the parish and to extend a hand of service to the broader Fountain Hills community, according to a press release. The festivities begin with a community blood drive from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15.
To express gratitude for the tireless dedication of parishioners, the church will host a free Parish Volunteer Reception at 4 p.m. on Feb. 15.
