New Journey Lutheran Church and The Fountains United Methodist Church are offering opportunities to support and encourage reflection during Lent.
The liturgical season of Lent began Ash Wednesday, March 6, and will continue for 40 days and end on Easter Sunday, April 21.
One of the gifts of the Lenten season is that it provides time for people to examine their hearts, to identify those things that have added life and those things that have diminished life.

Beginning today, March 13, and continuing through Wednesday, April 10, there will be Lenten devotions using the Bible and Mary Oliver’s poems at noon at The Fountains.
Soup suppers will be provided at 6 p.m. at New Journey, followed by the singing of evening vespers at 7 p.m.
Pastors Adele Resmer of New Journey Lutheran and David Felten of The Fountains invite everyone to make a day of it.
New Journey Lutheran is located at 16748 E. Parkview Ave. The Fountains’ address is 15300 N. Fountain Hills Blvd.
