Citizens Park

In order to insure that Avenue of the Fountains modernization project is successful and achieves the desired results, it must be given a new unique identity.

This identity would be more effective in insuring increased interest, utilization and attracting new visitation than “Avenue of the Fountains Modernized Median Strip.”

I suggest that it be named “Citizens Park” in honor of the Fountain Hills citizens who will be paying the bills for the project. The other names considered were to name it in honor of Town Council, service clubs, distinguished citizen, or to permit naming by a commercial entity for a yearly fee.
