The town has completed installation on new security cameras in the Civic Center area covering the Centennial Circle and Community Garden.
The Town Council authorized the installation of the cameras earlier this year to deter vandalism activity related to the garden and public art.
There are six cameras mounted on two separate poles to cover the areas of concern.
The system allows for continuous monitoring of the area to observe any illegal acts that may take place.
A continuation of this project later in the fiscal year will be to update cameras at park locations in town.
