I am writing to you as part of a class project for the novel, “The Watsons Go to Birmingham.” My classmates and I are contacting newspapers across the country in a state we chose to learn more about.

I wanted to learn more about Arizona because I have many cousins there and they visit my family every summer. I’ve always wanted to visit Arizona; the weather looks very hot. Something my state, Indiana, doesn’t experience as much.

I am writing to ask your readers to please write back and tell me why they like Arizona, extraordinary facts about the state and the types of activities newcomers do there, or places to visit.
