Once again the town is pondering what should be done to attract tourists.
First of all we have to clean up the “coot” mess at the park. When the Fountain isn’t performing, the number of coots and the amount of droppings is the number one topic of conversation.
Coots are a game bird, it is time to declare open season on them, round them up and either have a “coot feed” (there are coot recipes on Google) or donate them to the zoo for feed. I cringe when I see children playing or folks spreading a blanket on that filthy turf. Perhaps it is time for the Health Department to step in.

How about a “trolley” to take folks on a guided tour past all of our many sculptures? Not everyone can participate in a walking tour.
