Let me speak out about security clearances since John Brennan lost his after his retirement from being the Director of the CIA by the President of the United States for improper conduct.
I had a security clearance when I was in the military service. When I left military service, my security clearance was removed as well. When anyone leaves their government service positions, they no longer require having a clearance.
Their first amendment rights are not violated.

Let me speak out about security clearances since John Brennan lost his after his retirement from being the Director of the CIA by the President of the United States for improper conduct.
I had a security clearance when I was in the military service. When I left military service, my security clearance was removed as well. When anyone leaves their government service positions, they no longer require having a clearance.
Their first amendment rights are not violated.
They can state whatever their beliefs are freely.
And in the case of someone like John Brennan, who is hired by a national television network (MSNBC), that would be hired over anyone without that advantage, it becomes very obvious that his ability to use that security clearance to his and that station’s increased advantage over any other station is obviously improper.
Anyone leaving governmental service should be required to give up their security clearances.
