Last Wednesday evening I watched and listened to the violent protesters at UC Berkley. They were protesting a scheduled speech by Breitbart News editor Milo Yiannopoulos, which was sponsored by the on-campus Republican group.
The student anarchists showed they have no tolerance for opposing views and cannot cope in a world where their leftist ideology is challenged. Shutting down free speech; violent, destructive outbursts are all they know.

I heard student/hired protestors, stirring the crowd into a frenzy, shouting support for all races, religions and sexual orientations, blasting a message of tolerance, equal rights for all and peace. Their actions displayed they were all just hollow words, their destruction of public and private property, innocent people pepper sprayed, Trump supporters beaten, the words “Kill Trump” sprayed on storefronts, several people injured and the “free speech” event ultimately cancelled were confirmation.
The demonstration reflects the consequence of generations of leftist political indoctrination being supported, legitimized and taught in the “echo chamber” of activism we call public universities. Free speech is no longer tolerated, we’ve reached the point where the “inmates” are running the foundations of higher learning. Institutional anarchy is spreading like a cancer. It’s sad and something must be done to start bending the curve back to center.
Last year, a BLM movement convinced black football players at the University of Missouri to go on strike. Since then student enrollment at the campus has dropped 5 percent and black student enrollment plummeted 19 percent. Enrollments are down at many universities; contributing factors are the conscious support being given by administrators to a leftist-leaning ideology along with a lack of tolerance for dissenting views. Institutions of higher education are no longer a bastion of “free thinking” but rather have morphed into a “prison of propaganda.”
