As the Christmas season approaches, I am already thinking of New Year’s resolutions.
Mine will be to appreciate more fully the things that I have, including good health, a beautiful community and wonderful neighbors.
My final wish is that people come together and forget about texting, emails and cellphones. The good old days included friendly visits from neighbors, gatherings in parks and, yes, good old holiday cards instead of electronic ones.

Let’s come together as a community, talk and help each other out. We are all on the Earth for such a short time, and we need to remember that. Happy holidays!
