The Community Church of the Verdes in Rio Verde has provided an update on its Mission Committee activities and donations to local schools, nonprofits and church partners in the community and abroad.
The congregation donated over $400 in craft supplies and children’s Bibles to the Family Care Kids preschool during its May Mission Drive. It also donated a total of $10,000 to Christian Family Care earlier this year, according to Mission Chair Nancy Lowe.
Several members of the Mission Committee delivered the collection to the bustling preschool and its welcoming staff, Lowe said.
