The community is invited to join The Fountains, a United Methodist Church, Saturday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m. for a drum circle that celebrates the power of music, community and creativity.

Drumming is more than just a musical activity; it fosters connection, reduces stress and enhances mental well-being, according to a press release.

As community members gather in a supportive environment, drummers will create a tapestry of sounds that transcends words and brings all closer together.

Those interested in attending should bring their favorite simple dish to share with the group and their own drum. Otherwise, attendees are welcome to borrow one from The Fountains’ collection

The agenda includes drumming, a communal meal and more dreaming (to keep the energy flowing).

Whether one is a seasoned drummer or a curious beginner, everyone is welcome to this free event.

The event will be held outside under The Fountains canopy at 15300 N. Fountain Hills Blvd.
