Community Garden class is Nov. 19

The Fountain Hills Community Garden (FHCG) is starting up their monthly educational classes again. These classes will occur once a month and be held at the Community Center until the garden area is useable.

The classes will be free to all FHCG members. Membership to the garden is $10 per year and can be paid at any garden class or meeting. If you are not a member and still want to participate in a class, you are still invited to attend. There is a fee of $5 per class for non-garden members.

The next class will be held on Nov. 19 at the Community Center from 1-2 p.m. Master Gardener Rita Applegate will discuss container gardening. Interested parties may RSVP through the FHCG Facebook page.

There is no December class currently scheduled due to the holidays.

January’s class will be held on Jan. 7, 2017 at the Community Center from 1-2 p.m. More details on this class will be made available in the New Year.

Club organizers would also like to hear from the community on what types of classes everyone would like to see offered. Ideas may also be shared through the Facebook page.

Anyone interested in learning more, on either how to go about volunteering or how to donate, can go to this website at fhculturalcivic.org.
