Thank you to the Town of Fountain Hills, especially Rachel and Corey, Kevin, Joe and their team who worked tirelessly to get the park ready, especially after severe flooding on Tuesday; Jason and the fire department, who ensured safety for five helicopters including two USMC attack ones; Justin, who helped with road closures; MCSO, who helped with traffic flow; the always enthusiastic Phyliss Kern, who provided the incredible Showmobile and arranged golf carts for very foot-sore volunteers; the many volunteers from PCH and Scuderia Southwest, who spent a week in the park measuring, painting lines, placing signs and road markers, not to forget the months and months registering cars, sponsors, food trucks; Riviera Broadcasting, for providing a great DJ and sound system; the USMC crew, who flew in two helicopters specifically for this show; the pilots of the three private helicopters; the 941 car owners and the 108 sponsors who helped us raise over $155,000 for a wonderful cause.
I’ve likely missed someone, or some group, so I apologize, but please know that you were greatly appreciated.

I’ve been asked what value I would put on everything on display and while I can’t give an accurate estimate it was well over $100 million. The most valuable car was a rare Jaguar D-Type, a sister car of which sold at auction two years ago for more than $21 million.
I started this show because 15 years ago, after an exhaustive three-year search, we picked Fountain Hills to be our home. We still love it as much, if not more, than back then and think it is the most beautiful, but under-appreciated, part of the whole Valley. I’m very proud to show it off and just want to help it grow by attracting more residents and businesses.
