Conflict

It seems a conflict of interest that Rep. Kavanagh didn’t deem it necessary to provide his opinion when his wife was mayor, and under her leadership a $36 fee was instituted to clean the washes and streets. Now, however the current council is struggling to fund necessary projects to protect our town infrastructure and Kavanagh feels it necessary to invoke a senate bill that he once sponsored.

If he is “just trying to be helpful,” maybe he could offer a suggestion or two as to how the town can find a way to pay for needed repairs to roads and increased payment to MCSO for services rendered. Or would he rather the council rob Peter to pay Paul?
