Congressman David Schweikert, AZ-D1, has said he has his staff looking into why the U.S. Postal Service has notified contract postal units of their impending closure at the end of September.
Schweikert told the Times Independent he has been made aware of two situations within his district that he is reviewing, one is in Fountain Hills at the Cards of Fountain Hills retail site in Plaza Fountainside. The other is the Paradise Valley Town Hall.
Schweikert said his staff has been looking into the Paradise Valley situation for a couple of weeks and thus far has not been able to determine the reason for the closures.
