Construction breaks gas line

A construction crew working for Toll Brothers homebuilders hit a 1-inch gas line while working at a FireRock Country Club parcel under construction Thursday morning, May 17.

The Fountain Hills Fire Department responded along with Southwest Gas and secured the area and the leak.

The accident disrupted construction activity for about an hour. The area is under construction and no residents were displaced or evacuated.
