OPINION — The author responding to my opinion chose to attack me personally rather than engage with a single substantive concern I raised about partisanship and civic discourse in Fountain Hills. A telling choice. When an argument is met with mockery, deflection and a string of accusations about motives, it usually means the substantive points were not answered.
The deflection to Reclaim Our Town’s behavior is a classic "they do it too" dodge and a weak one at that. Even if every criticism of Reclaim Our Town was valid, that does nothing to invalidate my concerns. Two wrongs don't make a right, and pointing fingers elsewhere isn't a rebuttal; it's an admission that you have no real answers.
The Republican picnic scheduling overlap is presented as some kind of smoking gun, but it proves absolutely nothing. There is zero evidence of bad intent, deliberate coordination or that Republican volunteers don't serve this community in countless other ways. Anecdote is not an argument.
