“Tolerance” is the latest buzz word, but what they really mean is for those with different opinions to be quiet.

If you dare to disagree you are called a hater and intolerant.

I’m sorry, but when a pastor in this town preaches that the fundamental belief of the virgin birth is a myth I will not be silent.

There are many minor issues that churches can agree to disagree on, but to deny that Jesus was born of a virgin is not one of them. The virgin birth is a major issue, and a foundational cornerstone of the Christian faith.

If you want to turn the Bible into just another good book filled with wonderful stories and not the divine Word of God, that’s your choice. But don’t try to pass this off as enlightenment.

For true interpretation comes from the Spirit and not from man (2 Peter 1:20-21).
