Boy Scout Troop 245 in Fountain Hills will once again this year be helping residents dispose of their Christmas trees after the holiday.
The scouts will be making pick-ups each Saturday beginning Dec. 27 through Jan. 17. Anyone wishing to have their tree collected should visit the troop website at www.troop245christmastrees.com to schedule their pickup. Or call 480-809-3769 and leave a message.
The troop has been doing the recycling project for about 14 years and uses it as a fundraiser for the troop activities. There is no specified charge for the collection, but donations are much appreciated.
