Fountain Hills Town Council addresses door-to-door solicitation

Updates made to Town Code

The council has updated Town Code concerning solicitors, peddlers, etc.

Fountain Hills Town Council has approved changes to the Town Code that address licensing for peddlers, canvassers and solicitors.

The change specifically addresses exemptions to the rules.

Town Customer Service Representative Rhonda Brennaman, who fields phone calls from citizens on a variety of situations, made suggestions related to concerns she was hearing from residents about door-to-door contact.
