The Town Council has approved an amendment to its agreement with Shade ‘n Net for installation and repair of shade structures in Town parks.
Staff requested the additional contract authority to proceed with authorized shade installations at the Golden Eagle Park ball fields. It is also deemed prudent to have the contract availability to promptly address concerns such as monsoon wind damage, vandalism and other upkeep necessities.
The agreement is in an amount not to exceed $500,000 over a period of five years. This is an additional $450,000 from the current authorization.
