The Fountain Hills Town Council has approved a resolution to certify the ballots for the November General Election.
At the same time the council authorized participation in a joint filing in a superior court petition calling for a recount of the Town Council race. The town joined with Maricopa County and the state in the recount petition. Those jurisdictions also have races facing automatic recount.
The recount process was explained during a Fountain Hills Town Council special meeting by Christina Estes-Werther, with Pierce Coleman, PLLC.
