Council meets Thursday

The formation of a Building Safety Board of Appeals is on the Town Council agenda this week.

The town has never had such a board, but is considering the move at after receiving a verbal request for an appeal of a code decision.

The council will also consider approval of a plaque to honor artist Carlos Hadaway to be placed at the Veterans Memorial in Fountain Park.

Council meets Thursday

The formation of a Building Safety Board of Appeals is on the Town Council agenda this week.

The town has never had such a board, but is considering the move at after receiving a verbal request for an appeal of a code decision.

The council will also consider approval of a plaque to honor artist Carlos Hadaway to be placed at the Veterans Memorial in Fountain Park.

There are a number of requests on the consent agenda that will be approved with no discussion.

MCSO Capt. Dave Letourneau is scheduled to make a presentation on a change to shift hours for deputies and the use of body cameras.

The Town Council will meet Thursday, Feb. 18, at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers at Town Hall. The session is open to the public.
