Council to discuss budget plan

The Town Council has scheduled three special sessions next week to go over its draft budget for the 2014/2015 fiscal year.

The meetings are scheduled for Monday, April 28, Tuesday, April 29, and Wednesday, April 30. The later meetings are planned if necessary to complete the budget discussion. They will meet at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers at Town Hall.

The budget plan totals $44.8 million highlighted by a $13.7 million General Fund budget and more than $22.2 million in proposed capital projects.

The Town Council has scheduled three special sessions next week to go over its draft budget for the 2014/2015 fiscal year.

The meetings are scheduled for Monday, April 28, Tuesday, April 29, and Wednesday, April 30. The later meetings are planned if necessary to complete the budget discussion. They will meet at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers at Town Hall.

The budget plan totals $44.8 million highlighted by a $13.7 million General Fund budget and more than $22.2 million in proposed capital projects.

The meetings are open to the public, but public comment is expected to be limited.

A public hearing and consideration of a tentative budget total will be on the council agenda for Thursday, May 1.
