Council to hear input related to development fees at Tuesday session

Hearing for draft Land Use Assumptions and Infrastructure Improvement Plan

The Fountain Hills Town Council will hold a public hearing to take input related to a draft Land Use Assumptions and the Infrastructure Improvement Plan when it meets in regular session on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

These are the documents the town uses to base its development fees for new construction. The reports were prepared by TischlerBise, a municipal consulting firm, and a company representative will make the presentation. The reports propose increases in the development fees. Adoption of the documentation is scheduled for consideration at the council’s Oct. 21 meeting. A public hearing on new proposed fees is set for November with consideration of adoption of new fees early next year. If approved, new fees would take effect in April 2026.

The council has scheduled a discussion related to the Town Code provisions in regard to urban camping within the town limits.
