If you knew Peggy McMahon personally, you would want her on the Town Council.
She’s an amazing and extremely bright individual. One of 11 children, she’s learned to go after what she needs. When it’s a town improvement such as a road, a park or a public restroom, she will fight for us to have that amenity. If the money isn’t there yet, she will continue to pursue funding to make Fountain Hills always better.
An advocate for helping families navigate caring for a loved one with dementia, she is co-chair of the town’s Dementia Friendly Committee. She has encouraged additional caregiver services and brought us dementia education, for it is a problem which most of us have been or will be touched by in the future.

Peggy has extensive legal experience. She parses the laws for us and works with our town attorney to keep our ordinances legally enforceable.
A creative artist, Peggy quilts and sews gorgeous pieces and creates beautiful jewelry that she often gives away for worthy causes.
Peggy is on the board of at least three local groups and actively volunteers for duties in each. Peggy holds numerous other volunteer positions across the Valley and uses the knowledge she gains to improve our town and bring resources to us.
I have no idea when the woman sleeps. She uses time more efficiently than anyone I know. As a Council member, I’ve noticed she’s always prepared, she’s not afraid to tell the hard truths, and she listens to constituents. She always votes in the best interest of our town. And her crazy, infectious laugh brings all listeners into the humor of the moment.
I hope you will vote to keep incumbent Peggy McMahon on Council. She’s an invaluable town leader.
