The Town of Fountain Hills is advising residents that crack sealing on residential streets will begin the week of Nov. 17 in neighborhoods north of Palisades Boulevard.
Crack seal entails filling cracks in the pavement with modified asphalt rubber. The sealant helps prevent infiltration of water into the pavement and is used on streets that are in relatively good condition.
The area where the work is being done has been divided into three sections. Crews are starting with an area west of Fountain Hills Boulevard and south of Glenbrook Boulevard with an additional four or five streets off Glenbrook to the north. This work is to be completed Dec. 5.
