A few weeks ago, my wife and I went to our hometown of Social Circle, Ga. for a family reunion.
Somehow we left our garage door up. After seeing it, our friend and neighbor Moylan Smith called it to our attention.
Following a great deal of soul-searching, I decided to call the Fountain Hills Fire Department for help. Derick Deroche answered the phone and in less than 30 minutes he had gone out and let the door down.

Let me express my sincere appreciation to Moylan and Derick for their intervention. May I say again, Fountain Hills is the most beautiful town on earth, populated with some of the most caring people.
