The Fountain Hills Recreation Department has announced its upcoming Creative Writing class, beginning Tuesday, June 13, and running through July 25. Led by instructor Carol Kubota, organizers said “this exciting program promises to be an enriching experience for participants.”

The Creative Writing Class is designed for individuals who have a passion for writing and want to enhance their skills in poetry, short stories and travel narratives. Whether a seasoned writer, an aspiring wordsmith, or beginner, this class offers a supportive and nurturing environment to cultivate creativity.

Under the guidance of Kubota, a highly experienced instructor, participants will delve into the art of writing with a focus on enjoyment and self-expression. Each Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m., attendees will gather at the Fountain Hills Community Center to explore various writing techniques and styles.

The class will be held at the Fountain Hills Community Center on Wednesdays, from June 13 to July 25, (No class on July 5th). The program is $60.
