Crews have returned to Ashbrook Wash to clear a “small section” in way of sediment removed from town-owned dams.
“This approach provides a cost-saving, value-engineering solution by shortening the haul distance, eliminating off-site disposal fees and reducing the cost of placing material that will ultimately be used as part of the Ashbrook Wash slope stabilization project,” Town Public Works Director Justin Weldy said.
Continued wash maintenance work to the town’s 208 acres of washes will resume in the fall.
