Saguaro is broken. Sa-guaro is full of pot holes. Saguaro is a mess. Sagua-ro is in crisis. Also, like some of us, Saguaro is old and can’t cut the mustard anymore.

Okay, you say, tell me something I don’t know. Well, there is something you might not know. You and you alone, as voters, can help fix our problem.

In the next election there will be a proposal for an $8.2 million bond issue. This bond has a single important purpose and that is to rebuild Sa-guaro. No more hodge podge repairs, no more duct tape and tar, but re-building the entire length of our oldest and most traveled road.

We live in the greatest little town anywhere. We need to fix our roads so we can be proud of our town image. This will be an all-mail ballot and you will receive them around Oct. 12. Please vote yes and help save Saguaro.

It will not cost a lot, but it is a small price to pay for not losing your car in a pot hole.
