Crosswalk work closes intersection

Verde River, north and south bound at Avenue of the Fountains will be closed to thru traffic to allow for work to improve pedestrian safety.

Traffic on Verde River Drive is limited to right turns only at the intersection, and there are no left turns from Avenue of the Fountains onto Verde River during the closure.

New pedestrian curb opening ramps and crosswalks will be added to connect the east and west sides of the Avenue linear park.

Crosswalk work closes intersection

Verde River, north and south bound at Avenue of the Fountains will be closed to thru traffic to allow for work to improve pedestrian safety.

Traffic on Verde River Drive is limited to right turns only at the intersection, and there are no left turns from Avenue of the Fountains onto Verde River during the closure.

New pedestrian curb opening ramps and crosswalks will be added to connect the east and west sides of the Avenue linear park.

The closure is scheduled through 8 p.m. Friday, June 18.
