Since Fearless Kitty Rescue started over six years ago, we have been taking cats and kittens off the streets of Fountain Hills.

You may think we don’t have a problem in town and that is because of the work we’ve been doing behind the scenes for years now. What we have been doing is one of those “you don’t know what you don’t know” kind of things. However, we need everyone in town to know what we do.

We take all the friendly kitties into the rescue and re-home (place for adoption). Feral cats we TNR (trap, neuter, release). We also help people who have lost their kitties. We want to continue to provide these services to all residents of Fountain Hills without it costing you any money. However, it costs us money and that is why the $10,000 grant from Republic Services is critical for us.

So far in 2018, we have taken 45 friendly cats off the streets of Fountain Hills, half of them were not spayed or neutered. Can you imagine how many more cats and kittens would be roaming the streets, multiplying, if we did not provide the service we did? Can you imagine what the free-roaming, feral cat problem in our town would be like if Fearless Kitty Rescue didn’t exist?

We are a small, private non-profit. We are not a municipal shelter that receives government funding and that is why the Republic Services grant is crucial for us to continue our programs. Please vote for Fearless Kitty Rescue in the Republic Services grant if you want to continue to see our community free from homeless cats. Thank you.
