Cultural astronomy lecture at Fountain Hills

Derksen presents Community Center program

Join Vicky Derksen, founder of Night Sky Tourist and president of the Fountain Hills Dark Sky Association, as she leads a journey through time and spaces and introduces the night sky through the eyes of other cultures from around the world.

Derksen’s presentation will take place on Wednesday, Jan 31. at 1 p.m. at the Fountain Hills Community Center, 13001 N. La Montana Drive.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required. The program is free for Community Center members and $5 for non-members. Call the Community Center at 480-816-5200 to register.

The program is sponsored by the Town of Fountain Hills Community Center.
