Our dear leader has sunk to a new low. By using his toady, Sessions, to announce the end of DACA, he has shown his bigotry in a harsh light.

They hide behind illegality as justification. What about the Dred Scott decision, women’s right to vote, Jim Crow, Fugitive Slave Act, etc.? Weren’t these legal in our history? They may have been but they later were shown to be immoral. So is this prejudicial attack on people of Mexican origin immoral.

In my mind, immoral overcomes illegal. Now, the wishy-washy Congress has to do what is legal and moral. Don’t hold your breath. Perhaps sanctuary cities and well-meaning people will be the new Underground Railroad. I certainly hope so. I hope you do as well. God help us all, our country is being savaged.
