Christ’s Church of Fountain Hills is adding a special twist to this year’s Father’s Day Celebration.

According to Pastor Don Lawrence, the theme for the day will be “Dad Dynasty!”

The church will be doing a spin-off of the very popular “Duck Dynasty” TV reality show.

“We thought we’d add a little more fun to an already joyous day,” Lawrence explained.

To help set the mood for the big day, the church has already started selling camouflage T-shirts bearing the Christ’s Church logo.

Church members are being encouraged to wear camouflage clothes that morning.

In fact, a prize will be given to the individual, or family, for the best camouflage or Duck Dynasty-style outfit of the day.

In the midst of all the fun, Lawrence will share a message expounding upon Biblical guidelines for being the dynamic dad God has called fathers to be.

Christ’s Church is a non-denominational Christian Church located at 15555 E. Bainbridge Avenue, at the corner of Bainbridge and Glenbrook.

The morning worship service starts at 10 a.m.; visitors are always welcome.
