I am a resident who walks in the Four Peaks Park and playing field regularly. I know that several regular people have received tickets for unleashed dogs. While I have an opinion on whether this is fair or not, that is not the purpose of this letter. It seems that those in authority are eager to ticket animal violations.
How about people violations?
I have walked in the playing field several times in the afternoon when the weather is cooler. During these times a man has boldly practiced hitting golf balls. He did not care that I was walking my leashed dog or even that I was in danger of his erratic hitting.

I believe that man is far more dangerous than a dog chasing a ball.
What can be done about that misuse of public property, so no one else can use the field but one person who hits a ball very badly and has no concern for anyone else?
