Couples of all ages are invited to enjoy a fun and free “date night” courtesy of Thrivent Financial and Christ’s Church of Fountain Hills.

Humorist and psychologist Bruce Christopher will entertain and educate couples in a unique presentation Saturday evening, Sept. 24.

It starts at 6:30 p.m. at CCFH, 15555 E. Bainbridge Avenue (at Glenbrook Blvd.).

His talk is entitled “Why are women so strange and men so weird?”

What separates Christopher from the rest of the pack is his funny and dynamic delivery of topics such as men and women and their communication differences.

He has been called America’s “foremost ‘enter-trainer’ today” by the American Heart Association.

Local Thrivent Financial advisors Jerrod Stearnes and Mike Scharnow are bringing Christopher to Fountain Hills from Minnesota for the fun evening.

“We’re going to have a dessert bar there along with plenty of refreshments,” said Scharnow. “We want couples of all ages and backgrounds to come out and have a fun evening on us.”

Admission is free, and free childcare will be provided onsite as well.

“I’ve heard Bruce Christopher before, and he is one funny person,” Stearnes said. “And the unique thing is, people can laugh and learn a few things at the same time.”

The “Why are women so strange and men so weird?” presentation takes a hilarious look at how men and women think, speak and make decisions differently.

Christopher is a credentialed professional speaker and trainer, and he is a member of the American Psychological Association, the National Speakers Association, and he is a practicing supervising clinical psychologist.

Scharnow and Stearnes are requesting RSVPs for the evening; call 480-212-3266 for more information or visit thrivent.com/findaworkshop to reserve a place.
