You really, and we mean really, didn’t get the Fountain Hills Day of Prayer!
Why is it that you consider the Pledge of Allegiance, the Preamble to the Constitution and the Gettysburg Address “political?” Could your main objection be that a Republican gave the keynote address?

Attention, Ann Schweers:

No religious or political group was excluded from attending or participating in this event. Those who chose not to attend did so willingly.
When we attended this wonderful community event we were never asked what our religious or political affiliation were, but rather we were warmly greeted.
What do you find so repugnant about faith-based groups being allowed to hold a “Day of Prayer” in a public park they have tax supported? We’re sure had it been a non-believing group you would have had no objections nor would we.
