Driving down Saguaro Boulevard today one would have a “fairly smooth ride.” But that ride would truly be deceptive.
Underneath much of the recent patchwork on Saguaro, there lies a very old (over 40 years), deteriorating main street of our community. A few more good storms or months of continuing traffic and our crumbling boulevard would pop up to the surface like magic — and your tires would immediately know it.
To spend more money on patchwork would truly be a waste of our money.

It’s time to do a proper rebuild on this key street in our community. Please vote yes on the Saguaro Boulevard bond issue, which will come to you via ballot in the mail in October. Deadline for voting is Nov. 5.
