DeGennaro would be a benefit to Fountain Hills Town Council

OPINION — I am writing to say why I am supporting Susan DeGennaro in her bid to serve on town council.

She was looking for my partner, who had been a registered voter. She wanted a signature to help her get on the ballot. I told her that my partner had passed away. Susan stepped forward and reached to comfort me, hesitated, and waited for my permission. She hugged me with all the warmth of a friend. In the embrace, she shared that she lost her husband.

I signed her form.
