Election deniers will be back. Election deniers were overwhelmingly beaten back in Arizona. Some were claiming a win before the election began, and even promised us a smoking gun which never materialized.
I’m grateful for the many citizens and politicians who stood for the truth. Some lost jobs, friends and were ostracized by neighbors. Rusty Bowers, a Republican, made the ultimate sacrifice by standing up for the truth. His party ousted him as punishment for not supporting Trump’s big lie.
For the first time we heard that democracy itself was on the ballot. I wonder if many who supported and voted for election deniers fully understood that? I sure did!
