I am not sure, but I recently read in your publication that Fountain Hills wants to be a destination. This undertaking would definitely be a huge step in the fulfillment of that.
I understand this would be a whopping financial commitment but, long-term thinking, it seems to make a lot of sense. I would hope that the cost of the project and the operating costs could be defrayed by entrance fees from non-residents. I wouldn’t argue that residents shouldn’t pay a nominal fee as well.

On the negative side of all of this is what will this do to the traffic situation? Also, what about the lighting? Will it be in direct conflict with our dark sky?
