“I am considering all options before making a determination whether to proceed,” Dickey said. “It is an exciting, challenging prospect, and I will decide on or around July 11.”

As a 33-year resident of Fountain Hills Dickey said she believes that the citizens of Fountain Hills should have a choice when voting for mayor in the upcoming election.

Early balloting by mail begins, Wednesday, Aug. 3.

According to Arizona statutes write-in candidates must file nominating petitions 40 days prior to the election (July 22) to be recognized as an official write-in candidate.
