Dierdorf students spend two weeks in Arizona

Fountain Hills Sister Cities exchange program

Fountain Hills Sister Cities recently held a student exchange with a group of students from Dierdorf, Germany.

German visitors lived with Fountain Hills families, explored tourist attractions and experienced American sports during their two-week stay. They took an overnight trip to see Sedona, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon, toured the state capitol building and went to the Arizona State University homecoming football game.

The program is organized by Sister Cities Club members Elizabeth Horchem and Christine Colley.  Fountain Hills High School (FHHS) teachers Luke Salzman, Olivia Long and Chris Peterson supervised every excursion along with Dierdorf teachers Jurgen Keser and Julia Ruso.
