How does someone get to heaven? Some say by being a good person. Others think you have to follow a religious belief. Some believe there are many ways to get to heaven. I believe that God provides an answer to everyone honestly looking for the truth. The answer is found in the Bible, the word of God.
Would God place us on the earth and leave us without a plan? I don’t believe so. He used men to write the Old Testament books, giving us the history of the world and His plan for the future. The prophecies of the Old Testament have come true with incredible accuracy, and they continue to unfold even in our present age.

Jesus came into the world not only to fulfill prophecy, but to confirm what the Old Testament told us. He lived His life warning people of the judgment of God, and pointed people to heaven through a relationship with Him. Doctor Luke wrote, “Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12 NKJV).
In the letter from the apostle Paul to Timothy he states, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5 NKJV).
But the most convincing statement is when Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6 NKJV).
He didn't say he was “one way,” He said “the way.”
I believe Him when He said He was the only way. If there were other ways, why would Jesus go to the cross? Now you know the truth; may it set you free.
