Many political mailings received in recent weeks, are a few cards supporting lists of candidates for Republican precinct committeeman in Golden Eagle precinct.
Lists didn’t include candidates we know and support as honest, hard-working, dedicated conservatives. One card had “GOP” in big letters on top and the logo of Arizona Republican Party, looking official.
Another from “Citizens for a Working America” had the same list, again not including the people whom we know and support. Upon Internet checking, we learned that Citizens for a Working America is a PAC based in Alexandria, VA. The treasurer is a lawyer from Ohio.

We wondered why a PAC in Virginia, next to Washington, D.C., would have something to do with a race for Fountain Hills precinct committeeman. Why are they getting involved in a local race? Who could be behind this and why?
We received another card in the mail which came from Robert Graham, Chairman of Arizona Republican Party, and Jim O’Connor, Chairman of local LD23 Republican Party. It explained a lot. That other mailer, which looked official, with “GOP” letters and logo, was not sent by AZGOP, not authorized by AZGOP, sent violating of Arizona law, was a “deceptive mailing” under Arizona Revised Statutes, “intended to mislead” voters. Wow! Dirty politics gets local.
If you are a Republican living in Golden Eagle precinct and have your ballot, or will vote in person on Aug. 30, be careful. Don’t be fooled. One group is the “Deceptive Mailing” with support of a D.C. area PAC. The other group has honest, devoted conservatives telling it straight and relating to you, the voter.
We ask you to support honesty and principles. Vote for Judy and Rich Rutkowski, Ron Smith, William Bovinette, Clancy Hellige, Roger Velez, Terri Huffman, Charlene Dill, Laurence Schmit, Effie Gross and Evelyn Munn.
