We are in the midst of a campaign for our next mayor. We have two candidates that are both very intelligent people who have served our town in past capacities.
As an informed constituent, you can look at their past record or listen to their ideas for our future. They are very different in their approach and remedies to running the town and fixing some of our most serious financial issues.
I was very disturbed to drive around the town this past weekend to find large signs everywhere meant to disparage one of the candidates. I would suggest paying no attention to this form of negative information and instead only listen to the candidates themselves, as well as their past work in order to make an informed decision.
